I was thrilled to stumble upon eco-friendly and recyclable wrapping paper. I very disappointed, however, that the paper came wrapped in a single-use plastic bag, which certainly seems to negate some of the eco-friendly benefit. Please consider a different way to package your product!

Hi Nicole, Thank you for reaching out and leaving us a review. We love your passion for being plastic-free, and we feel it, too. The clear packaging our wrapping paper comes in is made of PLA, a plant-based material that is certified biodegradable and commercially compostable. PLA is not perfect, but is the most sustainable option we’ve been able to source. We do have bit of messaging about this on the back of the bag at the bottom, but what your comment (and other’s who’ve reached out with the same concern) tells me is that it needs to be a lot more noticeable. My daughter-in-law recommended us to you and I was leery because of things she has recommended in the past -but your paper has lovely patterns and bright colors; and while I don’t love the texture, I would definitely buy it again because of its approach to using green materials
