Here's a holiday story so sweet it doesn’t even need a sprinkle of nutmeg or cinnamon to totally warm your heart. Heck, it’s even inspired Tina Fey to turn it into a major-motion picture coming out next year! Each year, hundreds of Santa letters written by children in need are mistakenly addressed to an apartment on 22nd Street in Manhattan—far, far away from the North Pole. nd every year a dedicated group of volunteers help mobilize an army of elves to fulfill those letters.
If you had any need to restore your faith in the Christmas spirit, watch this short film about Jim, Dylan, and the inspiring real life story of the year hundreds of letters to Santa mysteriously started showing up in their mailbox on 22nd Street. It was 2010 and the couple’s rousing effort to ensure every letter was answered set a Christmas miracle into motion: an official non-profit org, Miracle on 22nd Street, was formed with the mission to connect families in need with real-life elves, thousands of people have volunteered to help, and in the years since over 2000 families have been served.
In the true spirit of the season, Wrappily is proud to support this Santa-worthy work by donating 20% of the purchase price of our O Tannenbaum wrapping paper to Miracle on 22nd Street and their mission to connect families in need with real-life elves. BUY NOW.
