A classically trained artist and native to Korea, Ja Soon achieved her BFA in painting and translated the skills to careers in graphic design, art direction, and museum and gallery curation. She's worked at the Whitney Museum in New York City and served as creative director at numerous advertising agencies. Trading in the bustle of big jobs in big cities, Ja Soon moved to Sante Fe, New Mexico to run a gallery. There, life slipped into a quieter pace. She is currently a certified Iyengar yoga instructor and creative director of her own morning walks. Ja Soon finds a meditative practice in everything from making kimchee to gathering feathers, shells, leaves and any other treasures she finds along her path. She shares her artful arrangements on Instagram.
